Mooquencer

This is a 4 track step sequencer with the ability to add random values to any of the sequencers or draw them in by hand. Equal parts intent and luck. This features over a dozen modulation parameters per track that can manipulate sound. Originally intended as a basic engine for others to learn and expand upon, it's ended up in many of my more recent songs. I encourage you to download and modify it.

Features:
Over 50 internal step sequencers for modulating 4 tracks.

Burnt Toast

Burnt Toast, previously known as No Toast No Potatoes or The Looper. It's the evolution of an idea Kit Clayton started in the basement of his home while searching for viable ways to perform live music using a laptop and controllers prior to the "Ableton Live" era. Upon receiving an early prototype of the core looping engine, I worked steadfast over the years to develop and evolve the patch into a robust live performance application.

This patch has been used by hundreds of people for live performances around the world including artists such as Sutekh, Safety Scissors, Kit Clayton, Twerk, Move D, Deceptikon (who happened to win a "Laptop Battle" with it), Logreybeam, and many others. It's been at the core of performances and installations in museums, galleries, and festivals around the world including Sonar, PS1, SFMOMA, Mutek, FCMM, and Transmediale. Now in its 5th year, Burnt Toast goes public as an editable patcher, so that you, the savvy (or not so savvy) artist, can hack away at its insides which will allow you complete customization of its function and direction.

Features:
8 loop players
Parameter Sequencers
Fx Bussing
Extensive ontrol of loop playback
Preset Save/Recall System
Multi-Track Recording
Midi Routing Panel
and much much more....

Camel Toe

This could be considered Drool String's "big brother" as it's mostly based on the same arrangement of modules, only much more expanded with a lot more parameters. Like the Drool String, it uses an array of randomized sequencers, but you can choose between several types of pseudorandom generators including the highly praised 1/F fractional noise algorithm. Sequencers can travel in any direction, including pong, simultaneously of any length.

Features:
8 randomized sequencers
8 audio loopers
Randomized Delay Sequencer
2 Step Sequencers

Drool String Ukelele

The legend that is Drool String. Twisted back-alley crap shooter used on countless records spanning the entire breadth of electronic music as we know it. Based on the sole idea that breaking habits is easier left to machines, I embarked on a journey to program tools that would generate happy accidents. This would end up being the first of many.

Thanks to Kit Clayton, Kristin Blechdom, and Ben Milstein for donating additional brain power during the conception of this program.

Features:
8 randomize sequencers using linear congruence
4 loop players
2 file players
2 step sequencers
Randomized Delay Sequencer
